E-mail Settings

Incoming Mail Server:

Server Type: POP3
Server Name: mail.hamiltoncom.net

Outgoing Mail Server:

Server Name: smtp.hamiltoncom.net

**Ensure that your Username is in Lowercase and the Password is in Uppercase when logging into the mail servers.

Former Fairfield Wireless Customers:

Incoming Mail Server:

Server Type: POP3
Server name: mail.fairfieldwireless.net

Outgoing Mail Server:

Server Name: smtp.fairfieldwireless.net

**There is no Standard of Lowercase or Uppercase on usernames or passwords for former Fairfield Wireless customers.

The Following instructions are for individuals who may be switching from a previous Internet Service Provider (ISP) and want to configure your mail application manually.

OUTLOOK EXPRESS

From Outlook Express File Menu - Choose Tools
Choose Accounts
Click Mail tab
Highlight account name to change
Click Properties button
In the section labeled General - change to the new email address
Click Servers tab
Incoming mail (POP3) enter: mail.hamiltoncom.net
Outgoing mail (SMTP) enter: smtp.hamiltoncom.net
In the field labeled Incoming Mail Server Account Name -- change to new username, if applicable
Click OK

NETSCAPE

From Netscape File Menu - Choose Edit
Choose Preferences
Click on the + next to Mail and Newsgroups
Click Mail Servers
In the middle Outgoing Mail Server - change to smtp.hamiltoncom.net
Choose the mail server in the box marked Incoming Mail Servers at the top
Click the Edit button
In the section labeled General - change Server Name to mail.hamiltoncom.net
In the section labeled General - change User Name if applicable
Click OK

EUDORA

From Eudora File Menu - Choose Tools
Choose Options
Highlight the Getting Started icon
In the field labeled Return Address - change to new address @hamiltoncom.net
In the field labeled Login Name - change to new username, if applicable
In the field labeled Mail Server (Incoming) - change to mail.hamiltoncom.net
In the field labeled SMTP Server (Outgoing) - change to smtp.hamiltoncom.net
Click OK
